ABOUT ME

Hi there, I'm Laura

I’ve been active in the gym for years and still counting. I’m extremely thankful for everything I’ve learned throughout my journey. The most important thing I’ve learned is that I started for all the wrong reasons: to lose lots of fat and get very thin. I lost lots of weight and reached my goal, but not in a healthy way. I restricted myself from ‘unhealthy’ food, I punished myself with hours of cardio when I ate too much and I was only allowed one ‘cheat meal’ every week. This resulted in me getting an unhealthy relationship with food.

Slowly my focus shifted from wanting to be thin to wanting to be strong and healthy. I traded the treadmill for dumbbells and after a couple of weeks my body started to change. I became aware of the importance of a balanced food intake on my body and mental health. After years of restricting myself from certain foods I finally started eating everything again. With quilt at first, but eventually I was able to enjoy all types food without feeling bad. I became very consistent in my workouts and made the progression I was looking for. Because of my own mistakes I now know how important a balanced lifestyle is. With this experience and my knowledge as a sports physical therapist I will be able to help you to a happy and healthy life without restrictions!

As your coach I do everything in my power to make sure you reach your goals in a healthy way. By overcoming my own obstacles I know how we can tackle yours. These obstacles and more important your goals will be discussed in detail.

With all your information I will be able to set up your personalized meal and workout plan, everything will be custom made according to your wishes. Also, I’m always available whenever you need me. I’m here to explain exercise in more detail if you wish me to, I can adjust your plans when necessary, we can discuss how to handle a night out and much more. Together we will work to improve not only your physical health but also your mental health so you too can find a balance in your lifestyle.
